Improving the Identification of Hazelnut Varieties
I have noticed significant differences within Waiau 1, 2 and 3 in growth, tree form, leaf form, leaf size, catkin production and timing of catkin formation, pollen shedding in orchards and between orchards. Such large differences within a variety point in my view to seedlings rather than cuttings.
